Default Parts on the way....

Ok, the car is my daily driver and I'm doing a cam swap (Torquer v.2). Just want to make sure I didn't forget anything before getting started.

What I bought:
-TSP Camshaft Kit w/ 918 springs and hardened pushrods
-LS2 Timing Chain
-LS6 Ported Oil Pump
-GM Gasket/Bolt Kit

Did I overlook anything?

Did you get an o-ring for the oil pump? Always want to replace that, and although our sales guys are usually really good about making sure you get one with the pump, it's worth checking on to be sure!

Other than some rags, fast orange, oil, and a buddy to help out...no, I think you are set.

ooh good call on the cheater bars. totally overooked that. but is there something cheaper that i could use instead of the $100 bars? (besides the magnets) maybe just a couple pieces of round steel from home depot? or is the one from TR pretty much the only option? i just feel like im getting fucked but in the end i'd rather pay 100 than lose a lifter down into never-never land

I don't see why not, you want to make sure it's nothing that will scratch any of your lifters.

You can use 5/16" wooden dowels from Home Depot as well.
