Well guys here is the list of parts I'm ordering for my car. What do you think:

Already bought:
- stock LS6 243's (Should I get them ported?)

Ordering Soon:
- Torquer v3
- PRC Springs Kit
- TSP hardened push rods 7.40"
- TSP ported LS6 oil pump
- Basic Heads & Cam gasket/bolt kit (Cometic head gasket 0.040")
- LS7 Lifters
- LS2 timing chain

Am I missing anything?

Does everything seem compatible?

I think I would have waited on the pushrods. You are going to a thinner head gasket, so you'll probably need shorter pushrods. Order a length checker, so you get the correct length the on the first order.

Also, I'm 90% sure the ls6 heads have center bolt valve covers, and your 98' has parameter ones. so... you're going to need new-style valve covers, you should double check that to make sure. Yes, get your heads ported.

I would go with the Katech C5-R timing chain, they are having a sale right now $112 IIRC

There's some inexpensive HP to be had from getting those LS6 heads ported! Give us a call. We can set you up with CNC porting and valve job starting at about $650.

 

You should be fine with the 28# injectors that your 98 came with. |I'm still running on my original injectors. When you go the Fast 92 intake is when you'lll need to get bigger ones.
