What Heads Should I Go With? I got an 01 SS with the LS6 Intake, Pacesetter Headers with Magnaflow Catback, and A .595/.598 Comp Cam, and 100 Wet Shot. Ive been looking into the AFR 225 Heads but I would like some opinions....
I had a set of AFR 225 that I used with my F1C and it handled 17 psi with no issues. But if I were to do it all over again I would have used the Trickflows. I just feel they are a better head.

It depends a lot on your mods & goals for the car. If your not careful you'll get a cylinder head with a large chamber & kill compression by installing the heads. With milling you can off-set that, but you might then run into p/v clearance. Give us a call when you get some free time & talk to one of my sales guys. Tell them your goals for power & what all mods you have & I bet we can get you where you want to be.
The PRC 215 heads should be in stock shortly & have already proven themselves with the fastest stock bottom end heads cam car in the country record & there's independent results with the Precision Race Components 215s making near 500rwhp with a 235/230 Tsunami camshaft!
We have tons of engine dyno testing for different camshafts & cylinder heads. My bet is we tested a camshaft similar to yours with several different brand heads. Give us a call & we can help you!
