Default Decking Heads and potential valvetrain problems?

I want to have the heads decked to 58cc or possibly a touch smaller on my LM7 build to bring compression up a smidge. I'm new to the V8 thing, my question is would the decking cause valvetrain problems with the removed material from the heads? It seems to me like the pushrods would engage the rockers before the cam lobe set in, or would the hydraulic lifters accommodate for the small change? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but this is my first major engine build and I'd like to avoid having having my valves not seal because I took too much off the heads.

I guess my question is, at what point will I need shorter pushrods?

Don't know what this means???

When milling to 58cc, there is an excellent chance that your valves will meet your pistons in a rather unfortunate manner.

Yeah that doesn't make much sense... I wouldn't really think so, since the LM7 has 61.1cc heads stock, wouldn't take much milling to get down to 58cc.

I would be willing to guess that the cam lobes will make the lifter pushrod and rocker arm work properly, but you may have a problem with ptv clearance.
