I also use Pac 1218's.I didn't want to take any chances.I have heard that comp fixed the problems.I would still use Pac springs anyway.

THe 1518 from PAC is a superlative nitrided spring as well, good to .650 lift. I have them both in stock. Both are direct drop in replacements.

Yes I do have them for a good price as well
I too ordered the PAC 1218 from you as well. 0.585" lift and supercharged with zero problems so far. Easy installation too.

Ordered them on a Saturday and they arrived in Los Angeles on Monday morning. Great service!

I went with PAC 1518's on my new build haven't got it in the truck yet. I tried to order the 1218 and they called and said they were out of them till after the first of the year. so I got the 1518 at a discount. Saved $80 on them, AWESOME!

Do the stock retainers fit the pac's or do you have to buy new ones?

Wasn't PAC making the 918s when they had the problems before comp started putting a blue stripe on them back in the day? You can't buy an economy spring and expect them to be defect free 100% of the time.

^no they were the ones that were making them before comp had the problem and when they switched from them is when they started having the failures.

These are "rated" at 600, but they can do 610. I would not go over that, and ideally i would not go over that on a beehive, but that is just me. Let me see if i can drum up a price and link to the other Pacs.

Heres some helpful info about the beehive design

http://www.racingsprings.com/beehivesprings.asp

The 1518
High performance LS1 spring that features
additional nitriding processing for increased
durability for high lift applications up to
0.650 lift. This spring remains a drop in
replacement for extremely high demanding
applications.

The 1518's are a direct replacement conical ovate wire spring for the stock springs, so you need stock or similar retainers.
