im finally trying to get the last few parts to throw my 402 in. i have the LQ9 iron block. the head bolts i ordered are the same a the LS1 head bolts. they are the same right?

 

If it is a 6.0L block manufactured 2004 or later then you have the wrong bolts. Look at the head bolt holes and determine if all of them are the same depth or not. If they are (and they probably are if this is a true LQ9 block) you will need the bolts for the late model LS series engines LS2,3,7 etc...
