In your opinion, it is better and stronger than the other in terms of performance, daily use TR244 228 581 588 114 lsa

or one of LSR camshaft ?? can you give me like TR244 cam
is there any Different anther cam Different lobe have same lift and durtion

What is the best chamber with Selected cam

That is definately a good small camshaft. You might also look at the 228R camshaft, we have engine dyno numbers side by side of a 224R next to a 228R & the 228R camshaft made a few more hp & drives almost identical to the 224R camshaft IMHO.

I would recommend a slightly different camshaft with the AFR 205's. I usually have them milled .035" and run a split pattern cam. PM me and I can give you pricing and details.

Thanks,
Shane

if you go with a off-the-shelf cam i would go with the 228R.
its small so you have good driveability
but its big enough to put up some good solid numbers

but we all know a custom grind would be best in all senarios

There have been a gazillion results with those heads and Tony Mamo's 224228 shelf cam that are quite impressive and should make for a great street car set up. Sounds like TR has done work to find even more as I'm sure others have as well, I'm just mentioning what I think is a good easy option. The LSR stuff from what I've read are much more geared towards all out race applications.

The LSR cams have a "small displacement or max torque" lineup also. I dont think youve looked at the line of cams much. Im going with a 219/227 .607/.614 112 cam (54-456-11) LSR cam. My brother already bought his LSR cam for his '01 Z28, he went one step up from the one Im getting with a 223/231 .610/.617 112.

Its perfect for me. It has to have aggresive lobes to use that short of duration and get to .600+ lift and back. It should have excellent driveability, make great power to 6500-7000RPM, and pick up torque/power EVERYWHERE. I want my cake and to eat it too. Its just what I have been wanting.

And, I wont wake the neighbors when I come home. Ive had my 240-260@ .050 SBCs and I got over that need to make a lot of extra racket when I was younger.
