Default 243 heads milled?

Ok guys I tried a search first, but I can't find my answers. I just got a F13 cam 230/233 114 LSA I also got 243 heads from an LS6 and was not interested in getting them ported right now. What advantages will I get from getting them milled??? I have a local shop that will do it for $56 a head. I have an LS6 intake U/D pulley and some other bolt ons with full exhaust. Also I bought a standard MLS head gasket kit nothing special will I need a different gasket. What about the 7.4 pushrods as well will I need a different length?

as for how much you can mill i have no idea but most will tell you to measure. stock gaskets can be used regardless of the amount milled as long as you have enough clearance(ptv) and they are for the coorect year (98's were different i believe). pushrod length will depend on the correct amount of lifter preload for the setup. most will tell you to measure as well. sorry if i wasn't any help, i'm no expert. good luck

I don't care about how much to mill that will be up to my guy at the shop. I want to know how much you gain from milling. Like HP or TQ rough numbers for my setup.
