Default Should I get a different head gasket?

I am in the process of rebuilding my motor. I bought mr. gasket head gaskets because I was told they are .042" compressed thickness. I have since found out that is incorrect, they are actually .051". Using the correct specs for the gasket (4.0" bore .051" thick) my dcr is 8.5 and quench is .043. I am thinking about returning them and buying cometic 3.905 .045" gaskets instead. That would bump my dcr to 8.7 and quench to .037. My question is is it worth the extra ~80 bucks and hassel to switch them over or should I just be happy with my specs as is?

Maybe this should be in the advanced section?

I would go with the cometic 3.905 .040 gaskets. That is what I did and am glad I did.
