Default Best Heads?????

Im Sure this question has been asked many times ,but what is the best pair of heads for the money ( < 1500 ) for a LS1. I plan to use the heads with a Ms3 Cam.

for $1,500 I'd look into the AI 243 heads.

it depends on what mods you have already. if you could list your mods we could give you a better opinion on what we think would fit your needs /goalsbetter.

I am considering the same question, but it is very hard to get an unbiased opinion around here. Everyone thinks their heads are the best. Best bet is to do your own research and find something in your price range that suits the goals for your car.

it also depends on what you plan to do in the future. i have a ms3 and plan on doing heads and spraying it so im going with ls6 heads but if your going all motor with no spray or forced induction i would say go wiith 5.3 heads.

The TEA 5.3 stage 1.5 heads are hard to beat for the money($1500)..I have had great results with these heads ... they have great flow numbers (316/260) that translate into real power on your car...I had mine milled 30 thousanths for a better quench...I've put 45,000 + miles on the current set on a daily driver....
