What other mods do you have? If you have the supporting mods (exhaust, intake) You'll see some nice gains from the tsp H/C set. Give them a call monday and they'll tell you if you'll have any PTV problems and a good stall to match their setup.

I would look in to a ls6 intake, headers, and a y pipe. To get the most of H/C combo.

Add an electric cutout, I wouldn't go with a stall that is under 3600. Personally I would go with a 4000-4400 stall.

I would only use three converter companies. I would go with Yank, Circle-D or Vigilante. Not in that order specifically.....

LS6 didn't show me any great gains, I'd look into a FAST 90/90 or 92/92 since you are doing H/C

i just finished a ms3 stage 2.5 5.3 combo and love it. im an m6 but with the ms3 and an auto i would prob go with at least a 3800-4000 stall. If you buy them as a combo from tsp they will sink the valves a little to run the ms3. with the other cam they wouldnt have to i dont believe. call tsp up though they are very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpfull.

I have seen alot of good numbers and performers from the Speed Inc S15 cam. It is the 231/237 cam.

I think you would see some nice gains from that. Get some opinions about the stall, I'm a M6 guy so I dont talk stalls. But the cam and the gears will wake it up for sure.

The guy I got my TSP 5.3 heads from put down right at 450rwhp with the S15 cam, 90/90, TSP 5.3 heads, through a 9in rear.

Another guy I know personally puts down right at 400wrhp with a cam only 231/237 with stock 853 heads, LS6 intake, LT's.

yea but are they 6 speeds? if they are they will naturally produce more hp. honestly the tci is not a good converter for the ls cars. i have seen problems with them not locking out. but go with whatever your budget looks like. i run a yank and have installed vigilante and they both are awesome converters. i wouldnt get over a 3600 though. a 4000 is too much stall for what you have at the moment. i run a yank 3600 in my car and it works perfect.

We've done tons of the PRC Stage 2.5 5.3l heads & cam combos. I recently finished a Tsunami & PRC Stage 2.5 5.3l heads car that made right around 450rwhp!

Do you have a dyno chart to throw up on this topic with the tsunami cam and 5.3 heads?
