what oil pump?
I am almost ready to do my H/C fast swap. I have the new rollmaster double chain, but I am hung up on which oil pump to buy. I have seen the ported one that texas speed sells, and my money is no stranger there, but I also see alot of guys running the melling pump, but there are different ones, a stock one, a high volume one, a high pressure one, and a high pressure & volume one, so which one should I purchase? Is a new stock one adequate?

I vote for just a stock ls6 or ported ls6. Which I believe all the newer blocks already have the ls6. I've ran a Katech ported ls6 for a few years without issue. Plus I read about alot of guys having to grind the front cover and what have you. With the Mellings and dbl rollers.

^^^^^ thats what i was going to recommend the melling 10296 the 10295 i think i just a more reliable stock replacement but with a motor with some miles id def. recommend the 10296 is right volume and pressure the 10295 is just higher pressure
