Hmmmmmm,.........NO WHERE in this post are "All Pro" heads mentioned.
Is there a reason other than $$$
BUT,.... you get what you pay for.
I currently have a set of the AFR 225's on my SS with a 2.05/1.57 Valve setup and Stock Rockers.
They are an Excellent head BUT they seem to be dying out around 6800-6850 RPM when I'm crossing the Big end at 7500 RPM.
So, I'm bumping up to a larger Head...
The All Pro LS-2's with a 244 Intake runner and a 2.08/1.60 Valve setup (Coated-Titanium Intake valves and a set of T&D 1.8 Adj. Shaftmount Rockers).

Had them flowed at All Pro with the new valves. Looks to be at .650=340.8
Looks to be a Helluva Performance Gain

Out of the two you listed, I'd go TFS hands down. We have VERY competitive pricing on them as well as all of the related items and tech help you might need to get the job done. Let me know if I can help!

We also can set you up on the PRC line-up if you're looking at more of a budget cylinder head

Definately best post in this thread!!!! Take the time to educate yourself on the heads that are on the market and make an informed decision.

Currently I'm running a FAST 90 Intake with a Nick Williams Ported TB.
N/A @ 3650 lbs Race Weight. The SS has been a best of 10.42 @ 124mph w/ 1.42-60'
Did I mention that it's still a 347ci. with All Forged Internals and built by FMS, has a FLT 4L65E Level 5 Tranny w/ a YANK 4k Stall
and a Moser 9" w/ 4.71 gears and a Detroit Locker.

I'm debating about replacing the FAST 90 with either a Super Victor Jr. or another one I've seen on Tech.... I just can't find the post.

Yes, I know..... a bit much for the lil ole 347ci.
BUT... I'll be building an LSX 440 Bottom end here real soon. This time I think I'll go Solid Lift

stg 3 on 4" bore

Not exactly what we were hoping for. Patriot advertises them to flow allot more.

I would buy PRC heads.
.
less than stellar head, or a conservative flowbench?
i had a set of ls6 castings with stock valves from patriot flow 299.9 at .650
i think the exhaust was 228.x
they are worth every penny for the price, but in no comparison to the TFS head.

search the dyno section, even moreso on 400+ inches.
average patriot does 480-490 ish, while a tfs will put out 520-530
