Trick flow or patriot heads
If you can afford the TF + $400 Yella Terras (a necessity for TF heads), then go with the TF's. Get the CNC 215's. And make sure the valvetrain geometry is correct, and wipe pattern is good.

Give me a call if I can help you out.
However, for budget heads, you can't go wrong w/ either PRC (Texas Speed) or Patriot. I would just have the heads inspected before install to be sure everything is as it should be.
i've also put on some afr's and some tfs, and had stellar results. they are more expensive for a reason. they really do make big power! they are also set up for more abuse if you will, thicker rocker pads/decks/spring bases etc.
if you have the extra kilo layin around, get the tfs/afr's. tfs being my choice. they do 'require' aftermarket rockers, however. thats another story for another day, but suffice it to say you should plan on an extra ~$400 for that. so honestly, they are probably close to if not double the cost of the patriots.
ultimately it comes down to cost for this exercise. hp/$ ratio, what your future plans are, if you can live with not having 'the best' etc.

Not exactly what we were hoping for. Patriot advertises them to flow allot more.
I would buy PRC heads.

ya i would be dissapointed with those results as well
ps i vote patriots and spend the extra $ on a 90/90 or directport or something along those lines

. We all know a ported stock casting can beat out an aftermarket head, just not one that starts with a P........
