lq heads flow way better than any ls1 heads.
stick with the lq4/9 heads

It will work, but the 241 as stock are not as good as the 317/243 port. If ported, then that is a different issue. As NemeSS said, stick to the 317s (LQ4/LQ9).

so i assume that the ls6 intake will work with this setup. what is the compression with the lq9/lq4?

depends on what year the lq4 is. I would go to 243's over 317. And I would go to anything over the old cast iron pieces of crap.
