Default cracked a piston

i was forced to drive the car hot after blowing a head gasket. so this is the restult:



i need a short block ASAP

no shoulder in the mountains and blind hills. plus, i couldnt afford the 900 dollar tow bill from where i was. i can get an engine for less than that, so i drove it 50 miles back to base. lol it still ran when i parked it, and it's not locked up.

Is it possible that the piston brake blew the head gasket,Ive seen this before , this is common with these pistons. I broke three pistons ,at the ring landings. Went to forge pistons and never looked back.

hmm that totally makes sense. check out my original post.

when i took the head gasket off, i couldnt find a break point. it looked fine other than the oil all over it.
