Default What does this mean?

I have a '93 S-10 with a 4.3 V6 and it's leaking a collant/oil mixture from the drivers side exhasut manifold where it meets up with the y-pipe. So, what is causing this? It's my bone stock daily driver and has 165k miles. Thanks!

if you have coolant/oil coming out the exhaust i'll vote for a headgasket and or cracked head

either that or the leak is up top and is just dripping down there?

I just repaired a Chevy Beretta with the same problem. Broken top and gasket, owner used wrong coolant. The alu was eaten up

If it is a vortec motor I am willing to bet it's those crappy plastic intake man gaskets. I know that fel-pro makes some replacements that are metal with silicone over them. I have replaced so many vortec int man gaskets its unbelievable!!!!!!!!! It usually happens around 105-150,000!!

It's not a Vortec motor, and I have already replaced the intake manifold gasket. Sounds like a head gasket from what everyone is saying. Thanks for the responses!

I agree, its an new LSx engine would bring you many happy days(but broke).

I get better gas mileage with mine than I did with the 2.2L. I haven't even made an attempt to tune for mileage yet either. Im getting 18-19 city, 25ish on the highway.
