6.0 head/cam help Just bought a 6.0 iron block 317 heads for a swap. Have been shopping around for heads and cam. the 2 heads i have been looking at are TSP 2.5 5.3l heads and PP 59cc 243's. I like the MS4 cam as I am looking for a lopey cam. Fast 92mm intake/TB. It will be all stock bottom end w/good rod bolts. Only other mod will be aluminum FW. Has any one else had a setup like this or will I have PTV problems?
why change to 243 from 317? you can push up to 7-800 hp out of these heads. 317 is exelent if you thinking of forced air. I use 317 on a race engine with blower. 317 will work more than fine for your chose of cam to.
MS4 is too big with a stage 2.5 head on stock pistons...MS3 is really pushing it..As for the lope your looking for just get a cam on a 112, somewhere around the 230's duration..
