I certainly appreciated the deburring AI does on the heads as I was able to re-install my heads with no issues...taking off the factory knives, I mean heads, resulted in mass blood loss from a couple knuckles.

nice. I already have a cam swap done on the car, just been hunting for some heads that will complement a cammed n20 car. Keeping a 241 head casting number for a little sneaky is just a plus haha

Phil does some good work on heads. I was going to have mine done by him a while back, but at the time he has not worked out his program for 243s. I ended up sending my heads to Larry instead. I will be interested to see what Phil does when he gets a hold of a few sets of 243 heads.

I appreciate it. Can't go wrong with guys like that, I am sure you are happy. Bottom line, you'll never get what you don't pay for. If you go to a shop with a proven track record and pay the price of admission you'll likely end up where you want to be.

We have a pile of 243 results that I need to get uploaded. Most of the time if the car ran as-cast 243's before then the reworked head will gain throughout the rpm range. Typically it would be 40-50hp peak & sometimes more than that beyond peak power. I'll see if I can get some of the guys to post up results. We have more LS2 than 346 numbers with them. The LS1 GTO in the thread below gained .48sec & commensurate mph on his first trip back to the track after we cut the as-cast 243's he was running. He also swapped out the original aftermarket cam he had for a different grind. Nick Williams was working on the tune that day & the car still runs the GM LS2 intake manifold. If the owner doesn't sell the car, we are certain it will run well into the 10.50's with a little more track time and closer to 0ft DA. http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showpos...2&postcount=21

The heads are cut on a Deckel Maho & a Newen Contour.

Thank you. Our M.O. has worked well for us thus far. The product will either speak for itself or be revised until it says what we feel it needs to.

We would anticipate 30-40 depending on a host of variables.

Thanks Guys!

Damn, I think I wish I went with AI for my 317's instead of the stage 1 prc's. I was told 30-35 gain with the prc's. 40-50 rwhp gain is crazy coming from stock 243s.

QUOTE[Russ' car has full bolt-ons and did not make 430rwhp in what most anyone would consider normal trim. It did manage 417/425 sae in street trim as he drives it. Now, if the weather would abate & that ~45rwhp gain could be confirmed at the track... ]

Were Russes heads milled down to 59cc also ?
