Damn those are solid roller numbers there!! So what did it make with the belt on? Post a dyno sheet, I want to see how fat that TQ curve is.... btw, what was the TQ? How far are you spinning the motor and where is that cam falling off at?

Man thats some awesome numbers with a stock cam, but how do the heads feel in the
lower RPM's since the heads have a 219cc intake runner. The flow numbers are nice i'm just
alittle concerned about low rpm airspeed. I've seen other 241's that flow around 295cfm to 300cfm with only a 210 to 212 cc intake runner. I'd be thankful for any input and what everyone thinks. Thanks.

I have a set of 243's at Advanced Induction right now. After reading this thread, I'm even more excited about my decision to go with them. I'm local to AI and I droped off my heads there. I met Phil and talked with him for a few minutes. Super nice guy, talked with me about what I wanted, even though I could tell he was very busy. I'm waiting for that CALL Phil, LOL, Dean.

My 241's were ported back in 2002 by a guy that used to work for MORE Performance and flowed by a local head shop in 2006 when I had to get a set of new springs and valve seals put in so he flowed them for me....304 cfm @.650 (I think .650, might have been .600).

I'm thinking about sending my 243's to AI also. You don't hear much about their work on 243's but what I have heard was good. Their prices seem reasonable.

I have their 243's on my TBSS. As an AWD i never got to dyno it when it was H/C on stock short block...We worked on the cam (where it was installed initially, then we retarded it 5 degrees). When we retarded the cam it picked up 6 deg timing and ran ALOT better. We spun a rod bearing prior to getting it to the track, but based on what the motor wanted (as far as fuel and MAP) it makes about what I make now on motor. Its now a 418 LS3 (but only 10.1:1 CR), and put down 429rwhp/426rwtq (when we swapped the diff with a 4wd tbss so we could dyno it), this was thru a stalled A4 and 14 bolt rear end mid 23x /mid 23x ~0.600 lift cam. The new set up ran 12.17 @ 110 full weight, pump gas on stock 20's.
They make good stuff, I wouldn't hesitate for a second pulling the trigger.

I have been talking to Ron/Phil at AI about doing something a little different with my 243 heads. I don't want to increase the intake runner size, try to keep them around the stock 210cc, cnc both bowls and full cnc the exhaust port. The intake bowls would be hand blended to the intake runners then top it off with a newen valve job. Since I don't race this car but I do take it on some autox events I think this will give it great low end response.
