Question deal or no deal on a cam???

I have a friend who has a custom cam that he had made from some unknown brand cam maker that the specs are 236/244@50 .570/.580 lift on a 113 LSA and he wants only $75 for it my question is will it be ok to run in my car which is a stock block, heads, intake 2002 WS6 with long tubes, true duals and a Yank 4200 stall? this is my DD but if it's on the extreme side I can live with it! give me some though and opinions please?

Good cam, sounds like a weird deal. Its from an ls1 right? You will need new valve springs and seals and retainers and pushrods. The pushrods will need to be longer since the base circle of the cam is probably smaller.
