Want to do H/C/I to my T/A
Been debating it day and night. Read my sig and this all I done to my ride so far. It's a DD. So can anyone here can tell me their opinions on whether I should go for it. I may take it to the track every now and then. But really, I just want the power. More of a streetcar than track though. I looking into trickflows H/C package. Thanks guys.

My goal is to have more power under the curve as a streetcar and I will take it to tha track every now and then but not every weekend. Not really planning to race it but I still would like to have more hp/tq. It's a daily driver. I have enough to get the trickflow package, labor, and tuning.

idk if i would go with the trickflow package the are good but the cam leaves alot on the table which could be gained especially for the money i think vengeance has this package which is "500" hp and you can also get the ported fast from them i would recommend the ported fast and the trickflows but not the cam in the packages i would get one custom spec'd which package are you looking at exactly cam size heads etc...

you can go basic 224 cam and some ls6 or 5.3 heads or you can bump the cam up but start to lose drivability escpecially with the A4. I like a G5X1 paired with some 5.3's myself for a A4. You won't be dissapointed as you will make power under the table.
Look into some of the threads on patric G custome cams for your application- very good Hp/Tq numbers.

How about you throw a set of AFR 205's on there and get her tuned ?? A lot of comments have been made about a HEADS only combo. Get to add the power of after market heads, while maintaining stock reliability. What do you think ?? Sounds like the best of both worlds to me. Another option would be to add the afr's and a baby cam to get another 15 or 20 rwhp and keep your car totally reliable and a complete sleeper.

Get the TFS or AFR's with a GOOD matching cam and you will have a good DD that will still outrun all but the hardcore LS motors at the track. I personally see a little higher #'s from TFS but you have to aftermarket RR's and a little more guide wear issues in the past.
AFR's are tops too and may not peak as high but make great #'s and I would love either one.
Cary at performance Induction is about or allready may be in production and I would give the a serious look to. Used to ETP so a search might be helpful.
I had a chance to buy a used set of ETP for a good price that had a spring failure and milled 58cc to clean them up and I still loose sleep over that
There are other aftermarket out there but for the value per $$$ this is where I would look
World and All pro are great heads also but more$$$$

Livernois Motorsports LS6 Stage II Heads / TSP 224 563. 115lsa /and a good tune....my SS is not my DD ,but it's nice to have a car that has great street manners and plenty of power for me at the track. I still haven't gotten to the track yet with skinnies or drag radials on yet ,but she still put down mean number on street tires and at full weight ( check the sig ).

All opinions sound pretty good. I'll look into the AFR's too. I just hope my tranny and 10bolt can last as long as possible. I know 10bolts aint the greatest but I hear some hold up for a long time. The only thing I done to my rear end besides the 3.73's is the rear end girdle kit with the studs. Still looking into all these things.

We have tons of packages that can get you to what your looking for. We recently finished a 228R camshaft & Stage 2.5 5.3l heads that pushed a M6 car to 430rwhp with a stock ls6 intake & TB. That combo is on special complete with pushrods for right around $1600 if memory serves me correctly.
If your looking for a little more power we recently had a customer in NC install the PRC 215 heads & a Torquer 3 that made 480rwhp with a Ported Fast intake!
Dyno testing at our engine dyno testing facility has shown over 550flywheel can be accomplished with a camshaft around the Torquer 3 size & PRC 215 heads!
Spend some extra time in the dyno section & search out the combos your looking at. You should easily be able to push well past 500 flywheel horsepower that you discussed in your post. We've made 500 flywheel hp cam only with some of the more aggressive camshafts!!
