Default ls6 heads.

I need a new head gasket, and while im working on my car i was thinking of throwing some ls6 heads on. wold that make a diffrence in performance or would it be almost the same.

p.s. im going to do a cam swap either way so would the ls6 heads work better with a cam, and which one would give me the most hp diffrence.
