I'm getting close to 140k and I'm planning on swapping heads again in the spring. If it's still running well I wouldn't rebuild it yet personally.

Well, it depends on your goals really. If you plan on beating on it, and if you add a cam/heads setup, sounds like you will. So, I personally would do the bottom end now, and THEN do the top end. You can look at it like this:
Say you do heads/cam on your high mileage motor, and the added power/excitement, your bottom end expires sooner than you like. Then what do you do? You just spent all your money on teh top half
I would build a solid foundation to work on, save up some more, and then do teh top end, and then you have no worries about breaking something in teh bottom end. My .02
