custom cam specs
custom cam specs Planning on picking up a cam for my 98 ls1 A4 car. I really don't want to go with an off the shelf cam, but I have ZERO experience with cams. So I am asking for some help. The car has pacesetter long tube's, Off-road Y, cat back, 3.73's, vigilante 3500 stall, 4l60E, 125 shot, timinig tuner. Planning on adding heads by next year. Going with 5.3 heads 317cfm @ .600, and an LS6 intake.
This is a street car, so I want to be able to DRIVE it. I want to stay under .600 lift, I don't see the point of the added strain if the heads aren't flowing it. Car will weigh around 3500. I would like a little bang to it, but I want performance more than bang. I'm not really concerned about Max dyno numbers, I want 1/8 and quarter time's. If there is anything else you guys need to know please ask.
