hey guys I'm putting a stck ls1 motor in my 03 silverado. whats a good cam to change to? note that the is mostly a daily driver and I dont have edit "YET"
I already wish that I had gone bigger, but you will need tuning with that

Absolutely false. With proper tuning you can get that cam to behave just fine with "cold/hot starts" no problem. I've done it on a similar sized cam with a higher lift . . . and I'll do it on mine as well 
The biggest cam you can put in it without tuning will most likely be a 02 Z06 cam. Anything bigger and its gonna have trouble with cold/hot starts and finding idle.
Re: Just Installed... TSP231/237 Cam FYI, the cam can be had on a 114 LSA if so desired. I've sprayed a 225 HP shot on the 231/237 on the 112 LSA with no problems. 
It LOVES nitrous. I consistently pick up 1.4-1.45 seconds on a 150 HP shot. You'll be fine spraying the camshaft on a 112 LSA.

I've been driving this thing around now for 2 days and have nothing but praise for its daily driveablilty (the fact that the idle was set at 1000 rpms helps alot I think). Runs fine with AC. Finds idle quickly after hot starts.
It's running really rich right now on the C1 tune.
Power is non-existent before 2500rpms, but from there on it pulls like a mad bull, with plenty of torque on tap from 2500.
I'll report back in a few weeks after the tune.

trevor, on mysetup, how much power do you think i am leaving on the table running a tr224 112 with my direct port? i calculate that its probably making 575-600 rwhp now on a 150 shot. im changing to a 9 inch in a week or 2 and then a th350 or 400 after that. do you think this cam has 9 sec potential?

The Cam sounds interesting,might try it in the future.
