Default hard to change lifters?

I will be doing a head swap down the road and was wondering how hard is it to swap my ls1 lifters to ls7 lifters.

Is it as simple as taking the old ones out and putting the new ones in? or is there more to it?

It's that easy. Might want to order some new lifter cups while you've got the heads off.

be sure to drill holes in the lifter trays for better oil flow to the bottom end

just take the lifter trays out and drill a 1/2" hole in the side of the cup at the bottom of the tray. it just promotes better drainback to the pan.

I've heard you turn the cam 2 revolutions and it pops the lifters into their trays. It must be simple

Once you get the heads off, just pull the plastic trays out. Some of the lifters will come out with the tray, others you will just need to grab and pull out. Put the new lifters in the tray hole and replace
