Im away at school right now and the car is at the parents house. Im going home this weekend. There is a write up on LS1howto on doing a head swap and thats what I have been following

I didnt go 1/2" holes, I went around an 1/8th.

i cant tell if you drilled a hole all the way through or just one side of the tray.

drilling holes out to 1/2" sounds like a little much to me, i'd prob go with 1/4" or so...don't want to totally dry the top end out
