What cam for my setup?
What cam for my setup? Need a little help picking out a cam. I have some ideas, but would like someone to check out the specs and render their own judgement. Here is what I have:
347.5 CI LS1 out of an 02 WS6
stock crank and rods w/ ARP rod bolts
Mahle forged aluminum pistons w/ Mahle rings
241 heads ported and polished
stock size titanium valves, dual valve springs w, titanium retainers
Comp Gold roller rockers 1.7
Melling 10296 blueprinted
11:1 compression as of right now
LS6 intake or better and probably BBK headers
I would like to stay under a .590 lift and keep the idle as smooth as possible while still making close to 500 horse. This will be a daily driver with NO forced induction or NOS of any kind.
I don't have flow numbers on the heads yet.....but they will be coming in the next few weeks.
