i seriously doubt there is stagnant flow in a tiny brass tee....sorry thats just not realistic, i understand what you are saying but honestly even if the temp reading changes were delayed by a few seconds who gives a ****.

^^no need to get all huffy.... I have to agree that having the sending unit IN the back of the head is the correct way to go. T's are easier, and if you or others are happy with it all power to ya. But for the people that want to do it correctly I'd have to side with what Bigdsz commented on...
