I'm looking to do basic "bolt ons" onto my DD 03 5.3 Tahoe with 3.73. I can't go to wild because my fiancee drives this mostly(it's my tow pig). I'm even keeping the stock cat back to keep it quite. I'm looking for "bang for the buck" setup here.

Parts list of mods are:
Pacesetter coated long tubes
high flow cats
SLP CAI
05-up factory electric fan conversion
black bear performance tune

What are some suggestion of rocker arms?

I reading SLP 1.85's, but now they are basically Harland sharp 1.8's?

Then I read the Crane Cams 144759-16 package with pushrods are a way to go.

Then I heard it's hard to beat the comp cams 1.85 rockers kits.. but which one the 3/8 or 5/16 pushrods? Can I just get away buying the pro magnum 1.85 rocker arms for 3/8 studs?

Do I need to change out the springs? If so which ones? Do I have to change out the pushrods? Valve covers?

 

So why are you looking to do rocker arms? ( lift) Whats the plan here?
