shop rag in oil pan! help no oil pressure

i used a leg off of a cherry picker to lay across the shock towers and wrapped tow straps around the cherry picker leg and around 2 of my header tubes on both sides of the engine to keep the motor up while i lowered the k-member.....i have a picture on my phone i'll see how i can upload it....it looks ghetto but seemed to work really well.....thanks to some good buddies in North Carolina for that idea

no everything sounds normal....i did notice some lifter noise before when there was 0 oil pressure but nothing noticable now....just the dang water pump leaking in the middle...from what i've been reading it seems that if its leaking from the weep hole it's time to replace it

I forgot all about this thread, glad to see your back up and running..Thank goodness your not a surgeon. Well at least I hope your not go around leaving sponges and tools inside people all day. Just kidding though
