one of our work vans has a blown transmission and my boss wants to part it out, it is an 03 with a 6.0 in it. would it be worth it for me to try to buy it, and is there anything that can be done to it, i dont know the engine code or where to find it on the van. anyone know any info about these motors, any info would be cool. i have now a 94 formula with an lt1, and would love to go to the LS motor, but dont know what this thing is

also keep the flexplate and the spacer that comes with it, it will allow u to use a th350 or th400 behind it with a sbc tc. it should 6.0 cast in int he front of the block also the rear. heads should have a pad around the valave cover rail that have 317 cast in.
