The springs that come with the hot cam are LS6 springs. I'm not sure how high you can rev them, but I could think 6600 should be OK. I dont know how much hither I would go though. Do you have a hotcam? does it really need to rev that high?

I've had my revlimiter set to 6600rpm with the Hotcam, LS6 springs, and stock pushrods for over a year now with no problems. I get my best times at the track by shifting as close to the new limiter as I can.

billws6formula do you have any tuning other than hypertech? My car cam with the hypertech tuning but not the tuner. Have yo had any problems with hypertech. Only thin I notice is that on hot days at the track with a stock motor I get knock retard causing me to lose .3-.4 in the 1/4. Does this timing help with the hotcam?

Right now I'm only using the Hypertech for the revlimiter, speed limiter bump, and 4.10 gear change. I do use a MAFT as well, but that was to adjust for a rich condition after adding the FLP longtubes.
