ok so i had a vibration from 1k - 2k rpms neutral or driving. so i took it to a shop to get it looked at he said one of two things. 1. new clutch and flywheel isnt balanced with crank and we have to take the crankshaft out to balance it with the flywheel and clutch.? (doesnt make sense to me because there interenally balanced.) 2. bent rod
do these sound resonable?

thats what i said some ls6's were externally balanced but not ls1's all of them were internally balanced. anyways he said since i didnt have the orginal flywheel on the car that the crank has to come out and be balanced with the motor.

Just see if your first flywheel is actually externally balanced if you have a LS6. The you know what your problem is and make sure everythings tight as well on your new clutch.

first clutch wasnt externally balanced so im sure i got a regular ls1 internally balanced. So im guessing its inside the motor but if it was a bent rod wouldnt it knock it *** off. Ive drove it vibrating for 2 months and it has good oil pressure 60 psi also i would think a bent rod wouldnt just be in a certain rpm range.
