Is it normal for ls1 engine to burn oil?

My daily burns about a quart every 3000...
Yes, it's normal.
Even so, I would have the car throughly checked out by a tech which could be difficult if buying one so far away...
Not because it could be a problem, just to be safe that there is NOTHING wrong with it.

i was worried about my caddy having oil in the TB from the PCV hose. i hear its normal.
the camaro in my sig never has ANY oil in the pcv hose. i check often because im boosted on a stock bottom end. the pcv hose now runs into the intake between the maf and the supercharger. it is as clean as a whistle!
