Would too much oil in cylinder cause engine to die? Haven't driven the car in a few months but it was burning A LOT of oil....Like 2 qts for every gas tank. Anyway, the car would just die every once in a while. Would too much oil in the cylinder cause it to do that?

Re: Would too much oil in cylinder cause engine to die? nah, it's not an idling problem. Sometime I would be driving and it would just shut off. It backfired after shutting off a couple times.
