What size Head gasket???

I am looking at putting some LS6 heads on my ls1 camaro and i obviously need a thinner than stock gasket if i wanna run pump gas. What size gasket should i use to run on 93 octance and not have any PTV clearance issues with my MTI X1 cam .591/.571 227/230?? I have been told .040 would be the best is this correct?

pump gas with that setup? how far are you going to mill the heads? what compression ratio are you planning to run?

I'm not going to mill the heads at all just stock 243's. I'm unsure about the compression ratio. As high as possible on 93 Octane (not sure how high that is)

We stock cometics in .040" thickness that should work really well with a stock valve size LS6 head.
