Default Need help with engine swap

Hey guys I have quick question .. whats the best way to put the ls1 back in the car to pull it we had to do all kinds of things like with the oil pan and stuff ... to put it back in does that driveline have to be removed ? you know how there is a drive shaft with that housing around it how do you remove that ?? its a 02 vette by the way just in all whats the best way to put er back in the easiest way anyways ... lol thanks a million guys

Need more info...your question does not state what you did to get the engine out of the car in the first place.

Here's write up on the clutch install. Basically, getting the clutch and torque tube out of the way is no simple task, so you'll need to decide how you want to approach it.

we took the motor out from the top that is just the block i mean . we had serious issues with clearance coming out with that oil pan clearing the chassis i wasn't there for the final pull out so im not sure what they did to get it out completely but i know it wasn't fun ;... i was just wondering if there was a "easy" way to put er back in that's all i didn't really reference how we got er out cause i didnt want to put it back in that same way ..

i looked up that info but it was more for just replaceing the clutch .. the motor is already out i was just wondering the best way to put it back in .. like from the bottom and what do you need to do with that way ..if anyone has any info on the subject please chime in ...
