Default Do I need new rocker arms?

i have a 97 C5 LS1. I recently bought TSP 5.3L stage 2.5 heads and a Tsunami cam. I was doing some reading in the May GM High Performance magazine and it had an article on rocker arms and high lift cams. basically said anthing over .550 caused valvetrain damage and loss of HP. gross lift on my cam is .647 intake and .608 exhaust. should i be investing in a new set of rocker arms or are the stock ones ok? what are others with high lift cams going? Thanks for the input

there are plenty of people running big lift cams on high Hp engine with stock rocker arms...

and dont believe everything yoy read in the magazines, most of the articles are sponsored, so you wont see an unbiased test in a magazine

i can tell you from personal experience that the wipe pattern with .610 lift is perfect with stock rockers.. and many people here are running .650+ list on stock ones...

i would be safe and stick with the stock ones instead of some backyard engineered replacement that have the same geometry..... (they are aftermarket replacement parts remember)

besides if you bought tsp you are on some kind of budget right? so dont blow good money on rockers that arent needed
