Default Oil Drooling out..WTF?!!

Ok..I changed my headers about 3 weeks ago..

Earlier i did a intake swap and broke my oil Pressure sender

And when i did my headers the dipstick tube went in only 90% of the way..

So for the past 3 weeks i had no problems with oil leaking or stuff. Then about 3 days ago i changed my oil, still cool..Then today i noticed a trail of liquid from my car..So i thought it was water or something..Then i drove it around and noticed that it follows me wherever i go..I checked under the car and noticed a small pool begening to form on the ground!!//touched and it was oil..Checked my dipstick tube and it was almost all dried up!!..I put 3 quarts of oil and drove home lost about 1 1/2 to 2 quarts on a 3-5mile trip back home..

What is the problem..???

there are allot of places it could leak from. you need to get the car on some jack stands and use a flashlight to see where it is coming from.

Your dipstick tube will go in all the way, need to fix that first. Get under there and see where it's coming from.

1.) install a NEW oil Sending unit - if it is broke like you said - it WILL leak oil
2.) Intall the dipstick into the pan ALL THE WAY !! it doesnt find what is blocking it and fix it
3.) Stop doing things half *** and then ask "why"

sorry to sound mean but come on....

1.) The dipstick tube wouldnt go in all the way, not because i didnt try, but thats about it it would go

2.) Ran out of money, and just got replenished..so i go it..

I dont do things have assed..i do what i can with what i got.

But thanks for the kick in the nuts!!

By the way..I did check the car. the filter is on there tight and the Oil Plug is on there tight.and no oil was dripping from either or.. The drip is more the driverside..Are there any plugs there that could go bad besides the ones i mentioned and the rear main seal?

my dipstick tube would not go in all the way either. i pulled it out, replaced the oring, greased the oring with some dielectric grease (spark plug boot grease), and it went all the way in.

sounds coincidental to me.. its got to have something in common with previous work performed in my opinion i couldnt tell you the amount of times i see maintenance induced maintenance good luck! probably shouldnt drive it anymore until you fix the sending unit and your oil loss issue.. my 2 cents.
