Default Wierd problem noticed in log, oil pressure drops in 1st and some of 2nd/3rd not 4th.

I was data logging oil pressure at the track today and noticed that the Oil pressure drops w/ RPMS in 1st-3rd. It is most significant in 1st and dwindles down by 3rd. In 4th OP is fine. I'm THINKING that I'm somehow pushing oil past the pickup on launches and the oil just settles back down when I get into 4th. I was about a quart and a half low using a c6 oil pan in my c5 so I was probably around 4qts or so. Do you think this is a possibility? I was figuring since the pickup is in back that it wouldn't happen but since it doesn't do it in 4th I don't think it is a mechanical thing. Car is running flawlessly and oil pressure and temp are perfect aside from this. I'll include a graph of OP vs RPM and MPH also.

Thanks for any input.

Dave

I think you're on the right track with starving the pickup, put the right amount of oil in it and try it again.

I haven't checked in some time but I'd have to say it was low oil level since it hasn't blown up yet

I have the same problem when I accelerate and this all started when I had my oil changed - I am going to go back and change the oil and put the OEM oil filter in the car and oil. Not sure what they used when I took it to the shop - they also did a fuel injector cleaner in. has anyone had this problem.
