Oil Pressure Issue

Oil Pressure Issue ok the car is a 99 Camaro. the other day, while driving the SES light came on and the oild pressure went down around 20lbs. The oil pressure stayed that way for about 15 more miles. the next time the car was driven, the oild pressure was normal (40lbs.), and the light is now gone. a scanner has been hooked up to the car, and no code was found.
this is not my car, its a relative. i have not personally drove the car. there is no noise coming from the engine such as ( rocker arms, bearings, etc..) what could this be?
