Default Went to the Dyno with MS4

Went to the dyno last night with the mods in my sig and put down 410hp and 375tq. Driveability is perfect i could easily daily drive with this cam. No bucking or surging at all. When i was there tho my throttle cable wasnt opening the throttle blade all the way so i gotta figure that out and go back and see if we can pull any more horsepower out of her. I will post a graph after a while

how much porting is done on your heads. must be just a light touch up.

good numbers though

Let's see the graph! A FAST intake and a different catback could feasibly net you an additional 25+rwhp!

Wont he grab more HP with simply getting a set of cheap take off 243's? More so than the FAST?

Similar power between the two IMO. The FAST is an easier/quicker install though and can be carried over if/when he gets different heads down the road

ported 241 are probably gonna outflow a set of unported 243s.

and he's already GOT the ported 241s....

with a smaller cam, and stock heads i gained 18hp with my ported FAST. so i would think at least 20hp would be possible with his setup.

would def be the next logical step

My first thought was that you seam to be missing some power. Could you be running out of injector. What do you have done to the fuel system. Stock?

gotta remember, heads can make or break the deal.

they may look nice, but flow for ****.

while it seems a bit low, its a dyno....they are all different.

i was surprised i only hit 390rwhp up from 382rwhp when the cam went in.....upgrades included true duals, roller rockers, light flywheel, EWP, and correcting an issue with the TB blade only opening 85%
while some of that i attribute to going from 245 tires to 315s....and a different dyno...i was a little disappointed.

but for all i know it would have done +10 on some other shops dyno...which is what i was anticipating.
but i was happy with the 18hp i gained peak, and 5-10hp across the rpm band i gained with the ported FAST...on stock heads.

This will be my setup, did you go with the standard 111LSA?

which heads are you referring to?

its the new 215cc prcs, and the fuel system is stock but it didnt lean out at all he never said what duty cycle they were, my k&n was pretty dirty i wonder if that has anything to do with it, i think when i go back i will take my air filter out.

I would think the TB not opening all the way would have a bit to do with it

With that big of a cam you need bigger injectors.
