Default slower than before , cam installed
Hi , my buddy have 2000 M6 camaro , the camaro was full exhaust and LS6 manifold then he installed patriot springs 650Lift and 224 224 .581 .581 112LSA , the problem now : the car is very slow , when he was with the stock cam it pulled harder than now at the street , what is the problem ? is the problem from the cam ? or what ?

Was the cam timing set correctly? Was the car tuned after the install?

yep the cam timing has done corectly , no until now we did't tuned the car , i think the problem with that 650lift springs ! now he wanna replace the cam and he planning on T-rex or G5X3 , what u recommend us ?

definitely not the springs... if it isnt tuned thats your problem and do you have a torque convertor?
EDIT: didnt see it was a M6 my bad

aha i see , why torque convertor ? the car is manual not automatic , what u recommend us guys to run with ? T-rex , G5x3 or custom cam from Patrick G

you need to get that car tuned before anything.. its not going to run right until its tuned

It SHOULD go faster but I wouldn't go WOT until it is tuned cause the AFR will be way off. Sounds like a tooth off to me......
