Default new #'s with hammer c1 cam

The last time I dyno'ed the car , the engine had just got rebuilt with a ls6 block and it was fresh less than 500 miles and not ran hard untill dynoed. it put down 389h.p/382 t.q but this was through a cutout and short belt on 16 inch wheels and through the 10 bolt . I dynoed at Thunder raceing today just to see what the air fuel was as last time it was without air fuel and Allan Futral tuned it on the street with a tech 2 . Well . Allan hit it dead on with a 12.8 airfuel and put out 394hp and 378 tq. second pull was 398 hp and 384 tq with a 12.9 a/f. I decided to try without air filter and it putout 406 hp but there was a spike so we made a nother pull and it was 400.3hp and 388 tq. The a/f without the filter went down to 12.5 an both pulls though. ALso I have added a 12 bolt ( both with 4.10 gears) and ported throttle body and asp pully but no short belt since last dyno. See sig for other mods. P.s Would putting my MAFT back on and setting it 2% lean at wot work with the air filter out and bring it back to 12.8?

Nice figures for the C1.
I had similar figures, but found out months later that the dyno used gave high readings. My numbers must have been inflated by 10 each.

If anyone wants a C1, I have one for sale!

Chad, great numbers for your setup. If you are ready to go to a larger cam, let me know.

Did you use the stock GM rings for your rebuild?

Jason , I am thinking about it but probably after christmas before I do. It's time to quit being stingy and share some with the wife and kid.
Do you have a cam laying around that you want to share ? What is the biggest I can go with .15 shaved off my heads and 2.02 int valves before having to fly cut pistons?

Why did you ask about the rings?
