weird lifter noise

weird lifter noise

ok I'm confused I have a tick that sounds like a lifter going bad but it doesn't do it on start up it does it randomly after the motor is fully warm after i've been driving around for quite a while 30-45 mins. if i shut it off for a little while it stops. this didn't start until after the cam swap thought it might be valve train noise but it only comes from one side. ok heres the specs on my motor 126k on an extremely well maintained motor we installed a tsp 233/239 .598 .603 dual springs, titanium retainers and locks 7.4 chrome-moly push rods, ls6 ported oil pump, and a double roller timing chain still running the stock rockers. tune was done by pcm4less. need some help here guys. Texas Speed was confused as well because of the way it happens is "weird" as they put it. I have good oil pressure 60 at start and under throttle 40 at idle.

sounds similar to my problem, except ive got forged pistons and arp rod bolts. what oil are you running in it? stock heads? what year? are you positive the pushrods are the right length?

It's not an injector clicking instead ?

mobile1 10w40 due to it being higher mileage, still running the stock 853 casting heads. It's a 1999 and unless texas speed totally screwed the pooch as far as I can tell the push rods are right.

nope still using the stockers If I can't nail this down soon I'm gonna throw a set of ls6 lifters in and call it a day.

I've heard some bad injectors before but not that sound like that and it increase and decreases rapidly with engine speed at idle its slow and rhythmic you can tell its going in time with the rocker.
