opinions on these heads/flow numbers i might be looking into a set of heads...862 LS1 heads, as they are named...
here are some of the specifics: Hot Tanked and Pressure Tested
Stage 2 Ported
Valves Unshrouded
Polished Combustion Chambers
Ferrea 2.02 LS1 Intake Valves
Ferrea 1.55 LS1 Exhaust Valves
Crane LS1 Dual Valve Springs(good to .650 Lift)
Crane Titanium Retainers for Dual Springs
Crane Hardened Spring Seats for Dual Springs
New Viton Valve Stem Seals
New GM Valve Locks
Competition 3 Angle Valve Job
Milled up to .030
it says that These heads have become very popular for cylinder head swaps due to the fact that these heads will raise compression to 10.9:1 unmilled and up to 11.5:1 milled .030!! (i guess you buy them unmilled, hopefully

flow numbers are:Intake: 163cfm at .200, 225cfm at .300, 254cfm at .400, 283cfm at .500 and 297cfm at .600
Exhaust: 128cfm at .200, 183cfm at .300, 206cfm at .400, 225 at .500 and 231cfm at .600.
Flow testing done on a SuperFlow SF-600 at 28" of depression.
seem like good numbers, add in a comp cam for a nice streetable NA tuned LS1? what do you think? thx for the input

The mid lift numbers look pretty good, and the peak numbers are decent as well, keep in mind if you go with .030 milled off the heads you probably wont be able to go with a real big cam, some of the others guy here could probably give you a better answer than what i could. Have you looked at the partriot heads from TSP, the new LQ9 heads can give you a compression ratio of about 11 to 1 with nothing milled off the heads if you go with the 59cc chambers, it seems like they have been performing well.
