I recently pulled hte heads of my car. I have some Cometic gaskets and there was no leaks. I want to re-use them. What is the procedure for cleaning them up. I heard you have to use a copper spray. Thanks for all the help.

 

Just clean them in mineral spirits. If you dont have that then starting fluid will be fine. And get you some K&W coppercoat in the aerosol cans and coat them good before you put them back on. Just let it set on the gasket for a minute or two and let it get tacky before putting them on.
