Mine is a C5 so this might not work for f-bodies. I think it should, though. When I installed a P&P TB, it more than offset the cams need for more air. So I was doing the opposite of what I had done with the stock TB. Using Edit, I left the idle air tab #'s stock. Only adjusted IAC Park Position and Idle tables. This was after a lot of messing with all the tables. It occured to me to think of it as setting a choke. It worked like a charm. No more gas to start, no surge, no speed up of RPM's, no nothing bad. My cam is only a 222/568/114 in an A4. But, many A4's never solve all the issues.
